African Drumming Workshops
Sounds of Africa
Sounds of Africa will provide a snap shot into some of the worlds most diverse and ancient traditions through rhythm and song. On their African journey, together your team will create beats and sing songs that inspire and make aware of their own ability to express rhythm which may have never been apparent, until now.
Through simple and effective rhythms from Africa, your team will be creating wonderful, uplifting music in a short space of time. We provide each member with an authentic African drum and explain the significance of each rhythm and how drums, dance and singing are an integral part of everyday African life. At the end of the session the group will be playing, singing and evoking the true spirit of Africa, leaving them enriched, energised and spellbound at the amazing music that has been created.
