Our African music performers are drawn from different countries all over Eurpoe and Africa. They are renowned for their energetic performances of traditional as well as contemporary African music and dance. The music is suited not only for high-energy entertainment but can also be used in a variety of situations including: during dinner or as a background atmospheric sound. Combined with traditional African dance this provides an unforgettable, high‐energy show that will wow your audiences.
Denifari is lead by internationally renowned master drummer Sidiki Dembele this 6 piece West African music and dance ensemble will bring the very best of tribal beats, songs and dance to heat up your conference or event. Bringing together some the very best West African performers currently in the UK the ensemble consist of 4 musicians and 2 dancers. (Additional performers can be arranged if you require a larger show). The band plays and performs West African music and dance using traditional instruments such as Djembe, Cora, Djun Djun and Bamboo Flute all pulled together with vocals and high energy dance routines. The show will take you on a journey around West African Tribal Rhythms and Dance with high energy audience participation skilfully woven into the show.
Denifari can offer short performances or a maximum of two 40 minute slots . Hands on percussion workshops with Master Drummers and Dancers can also be arranged. Sidiki Dembele comes from Ivory Coast is an internationally renowned star of the djembe drum who has been residing in the UK since he became lead soloist for the former worldwide touring show Afrika Afrika. West African griot (lineage of musicians and storytellers) Sidiki also specialises in the Ngoni, a traditional stringed instrument.
